Staff training would start on May 19th in Santo Domingo, and on the 20th we will travel to Constanza.
Please complete the below forms as soon as possible and submit them with the New Hire Form.

OffBeat Traveler Health History & Emergency Contact Form
Make sure you complete your account and bank information is correct.
Staff Schedule
This is not the final schedule, and it is very likely to change. Please be understanding and flexible when it comes to the schedule, there is always a chance it could move around as the summer progresses. This is not a random schedule but one that is based on personalities, strengths, experience, background, and gut. I don’t feel that there should be any big surprises for anyone.
If you only see yourself on the first session the assumption is that you will do that summer for the duration of the summer. If you don't see yourself on the schedule don't panic. If you're receiving this email it means we have a plan for you!
Some of you will change to a different program or programs due to last minute enrollment or low enrollment which has made us reduce or increase the number of guides on that trip. However we want you to be excited, even though you may be doing other programs during the course of the summer. During the staff training week you will be able to see a more updated summer schedule!

Working at Offbeat
At Offbeat Travel above all we believe in an inclusive space where all feel welcomed regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability or any identity.
We are passionate about the transformative power of travel and want to create a world where it is accessible to all while ensuring the local population is treated fairly and equitably.
We like to travel. We like to take the dirt road as far as it goes, and then some. We believe that learning happens at the edge of our comfort zone and like to push ourselves closer and closer to it.
We love feedback. We know we are good at what we do, but we also know we can improve and want to learn how to. We are open to and actively seek out feedback from our staff, clients and partners.
We are not a family, we are a team. We enjoy each other's company and work hard together toward our mission but we understand that employees often grow beyond our organization and support them in their growth. Comparing our team to a family feels disingenuous, and we don't like disingenuous.
Net Promoter Score
We measure our Net Promotor Score among our staff quarterly. We use NPS to gauge how are staff perceive our company culture and how it can improve.
As of March 2024 our NPS for our seasonal staff is 92 and 100 for our full time team!
